Album Notes

We are the TEAM generation Gap? T-ogether E-ach A-ccomplishes M-ore. We use a question mark at the end of our band name because we truly believe,\"There is no such thing as a generation gap with God, love and great music.\"
Many of the songs children sing today are songs our parents sang to us. \"Happy Trails\" by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans is an excellent example. Our grandchildren learned it in kindergarten. We sang it when we were children.

Grampa Greggi and I have been making music and raising our children{together} for more than 25 years. After the success of our first children\'s CD, \"Montessori Kids\" we finally decided what we wanted to do when we grew up. We wanted to continue making music and passing on the lessons that we have learned. We are minstrels on a mission!

Greggi is musician extraordinaire. If it has strings he can pluck it and the sounds he brings forth are magical. His hands of talent are what you hear strumming the banjo and guitar on our CD\'s. He is also a marvelous singer/song writer. I am Sharon...the female vocalist on the TEAM. I am also a song writer. Our grandchildren call me Grand. It works for me.

\"Happy Trails\" is an album dedicated to the most wonderful horse that ever lived. Her name was Hello Dolly. She lived her life as an optimist. Her horsey greeting always seemed to say,Hi.I\'m sure happy to be alive and I\'m very happy to see you.

Our glorious horse never saw the broadway show \"Hello Dolly.\" But,she had a zest for life and an adventurous spirit. Her spirit surpassed joy.She passed on the lessons she never learned from a broadway show. She passed back to us love and trust.

Her voice was a melody;a song she sang every day of her 34 years of life. For 21 years she shared her song with us.She always whinnied a hello greeting when she saw us. Now, we sing songs in memory of her wonderful spirit. We sing because we miss her. It\'s all we know how to do to let others know how much we loved her and life. We sing to remind folks how precious life is. And how wonderful it is to have love and a best friend like Hello Dolly.

Ode To Dolly

Then me and Dolly would go for a ride
Just me and her and the wind.
She was most unlike people I\'ve known.
She was a tried and true friend.
She was here when I came
When things were brand new.
We did things together
As the kids grew.
Just me and Dolly would go for a ride
She taught me all that she knew.

Me and Dolly would go for a ride
Me, oh my, did we get high
Down in the valley and up on the ridge
I can\'t begin to tell you all the things that we did.

~ Greg Hunter

\"Happy Trails\" is a musical and spiritual culmination of me & G\'s many years together. The songs chosen for this album tell of the trials and tribulations we have encountered while traveling down this wonderful, adventure road called life. It is music that reflects the strength and weaknesses of the human spirit. It is sometimes joyful, sometimes sorrowful, but always it is the soul searching with a hopeful heart.

Track 14, \"Looking For The Good Life\" is a song we wrote for the young and the young at heart. It is a song everyone can identify with as they search for the answers to life\'s questions. It is a reminder of Dorothy\'s words from The Wizard Of Oz...\"There\'s no place like HOME.\" It is a love story. It is our story. We know you will understand.

Matt Levin,teacher,song writer,wrote tracks 6 & 7{Gator Song & One True Desire}. Greg & Sharon wrote tracks 1,3,12,13,14,15 and our favorite track 17 {Old Paint Mare}.

Dolly always said, Don\'t worry. Things will be OK.
