Album Notes

Missing Scene is an all-original folk and rock group that has been creating a stir on the Tokyo live scene for close to four years now.

Having just released their first album - Derelicts and Broken Dreams - they are eager to continue breaking down the walls of genre and assembly-line pop to create a new kind of experience, one that everyone can relate to and yet no one has mastered.

Geoff Hash (originally from the U.S.) has been writing music based on his experiences growing up in rural America, learning about life on the streets of Queens in New York City, and finding more questions than answers in the whirlwind that is Tokyo. His music has received national American radio airplay, and is available worldwide.

Drawing on a variety of influences from Bob Dylan to Bright Eyes, Missing Scene continues to create something that is at the same time unique and familiar. Meaningful lyrics and catchy melodies, combined with their country-and-folk-tinged music, make for an irresistable listening experience. Consistently impressing fans and casual listeners alike, its no wonder theyve been called \"scene defining\" by Toronto-based band The Canaries and \"the best foreign band in Tokyo\" by Tokyo writer and filmmaker Paul Davies
