Album Notes

This St. Louis-based singer-songwriter just recorded the follow-up to the acclaimed Live At Lucas School House (2006) and Throwing Rocks At Your Ghost (2005) with Ken Coomer (Uncle Tupelo/Wilco) and Charlie Brocco (George Harrison/Fleetwood Mac) in Nashville. Geoff won the People’s Choice Award for Best Singer-Songwriter in St. Louis and has also garnered honors, awards and kudos from The Recording Academy, International Songwriting Competition and Billboard magazine’s Worldwide Songwriting Competition. Watching him perform songs with lines such as, “it's not that I don't like peace, but violence is a friend of mine" ("Pro-War"), audiences across the country agree they're witnessing a part of the next generation of great American songwriters. When he’s not recruiting a band, writing new material or playing the incendiary shows he’s become known for, you can find this singer-songwriter finding a publisher for the book about his seven-week tour in 2006 that took him across the country. Look for the book and a brand new, full-band record Summer/Fall 2008. US tours to follow.

Amazing lyrics
author: Danielle
"And if I can't look you in the eyes, I want you to know that you are the star in my sky" From The Answers You Want are the most emotionally filled and personal lyrics of any of the songs. They can speak to anyone. At one point or another, everyone as felt this way, been afraid to tell someone how they feel and this song captures that moment to the tee. Simply Amazing!

Just give a listen to "I'm sorry". It's truth. It's honesty. Not to mention it's a damn good piece of songwriting. Sure to make you breathe deep.
