Album Notes

Playing gigs in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia throughout the summer, recording, teaching,and playing in the winter, Slideways is the result of 8 months of recording, as time allows, by Geoffrey Code. The songs on the album show Geoffrey trying to stretch himself as a guitarist and musician, playing a little dobro, harmonizing guitars, dabbling on keyboards, thumping on bass, and even exploring a little rhythm. As a teacher, a proud acheivement is the three songs on the album co-written with former student, Christopher Buryniuk.

Geoffrey has been playing guitar for more than 30 years, playing various bands through the years, and taking all that experience and writing some poignant, intense and just plain ol\' happy tunes.
