Geoffrey’s earlier songs were written in a jazz-folk style, and his main influences were James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and Peter, Paul and Mary; but Geoffrey Grew up in the 60’s during the advent of rock and roll music in the US, probably started by the Beatles, and he was an avid fan of several bands including The Kinks, Jefferson Airplane, Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Byrds, The Turtles, and Loving Spoonful. Later, he became interested in Jazz-rock artists including Larry Coryell, John McLaughlin, Chick Correa, Stanley Clark, and his brother Brian Keane. He also has a background in classical music which has partially influenced his writing.
