Geolyn is a native of Southern California and has been a musician, songwriter and performer most of her life. Starting with groups like the Raunchettes, Groovie Ghoulies, and Indra's Net, she cut her teeth in the punk rock scene. Later Geolyn expanded her talents with the blues, funk, and fast rock-n-roll with Brainspoon.
Wake is her first solo album based on the premise, "I can do what ever I feel like." It expresses many styles within the world of guitar and her timeless voice reveals her love of melody.
