Album Notes

The first album by George and Julius, songwriters and agitatorzs from New York City. These guys produced the "Hail to the Thief! Songs for the Bush Years' CD and their new CD, "Just A Few Bad Apples," is also on CDBABY.

This first CD is quite folky in nature, mostly acoustic and intimate. Julius was just starting his recording career at the time this was recorded (late 1998), and the songs have a freshness to them that is consistent with how these guys sound in concert. 14 songs of labor, justice and injustice. Highlights include "Too Many Guns", "Contract on America" and "Oh Woody!"
