When asked why The Embers, the legendary Carolina musical group, chose this tune? Founder, Bobby Tomlinson said, “We wanted to pay tribute to the country and the city where we had such a great time recording.”

The song highlights, “The Lady With The Torch”, Broadway, Wall St., famous shopping havens and the many things that make the city so unique.

The song was written by multi-Grammy nominee, Jimmy George (I’ll Always Love You’, “Just To See Her”) and James Auspitz and produced by Charles Wallert.
