ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From The Other Side The Nevada Kid Rides Again
George was blessed with his musical abilities at a young age of four years old when he reached up and touched his first piano. At the age of six he was captured on film playing a piano at the Buffalo NY. train station where a crowd gathered to listen.George was being guided by the creativity by the love of God for the love of the art of music.George’s next experience would be at a wedding party. When his mom said to him,” Go on and ask the band if you could play the drums”so he did.The next thing he was up on the stage at eight years of age playing his first set of drums. When George got home he immediately began putting himself a drum set together from wash tubs to cardboard boxes.George then turned on his grandfathers antique radio with wooden knobs and began swinging to the big band music of the1960's.Well the 60's were off to a great start with George’s inspirations and blessings of God that would continue throughout his career.George never let up he also was gifted to play sports and soon as the game was over George was back playing that music all the other kids wanted to know how do you do that?George just kept on playing. Then the Beatles came 1964 George would just say,” come on lets just keep playing our music we can’t stop and wait for every band that comes along”.Of course you know the Beatles put a dent in the music every kid wanted to idolize them! But that didn’t stop George he was right in the action!!George’s older friends really appreciated George’s abilities. They would make comments such as” George your Funky man, groovie man, ahead of your time and can really swing on the drums.Of coarse he didn’t know what they meant by funky and groovie and ahead of your time but he believed it meant good because there he was on those drums and the beat played on.....Then and now. George’s first band was called “(Doty And His Dots)”Why?because his last name is Doty/DeLaidatti also had management and a fan club where he started off as the drummer/singer and with other hidden talents became the guitar player and lead singer of the group.George preformed all the local venue’s from social clubs, theater, football halftime shows and special events even the Y.M.C.A.before it became a big hit! from his home town of Charleroi, Pa..throughout the Monongahella Valley home of Joe Montanna twenty nine miles south of Pittsburgh,Pa.George would then find himself preforming parties, beach parties, high schools, colleges night clubs and concerts into Pittsburgh,Ohio,Missouri,North DakotaWest Virgina,Virgina,Ohio,Indiana,Michigan,Chicago,Iowa,Wisconsin,Montanna,Texas,Florida Californina,Minnasota,Colorado,Canada,Tennessee,Baffalo,NY.and New York area.George has been residing in Las Vegas,Nevada for many years.George has preformed in many of the casino’s conventions and concerts around town playing many styles and venues.George has opened shows and preformed along with musical groups such as The Vanilla Fudge,Eddie Holeman, Catus,Savoy Brown,Spirit,Jr.Walker,Weather Report,Brownsville Station,Kansas, Chuck Manjonie and also found to had started a jam that lead to be a number one hit “Play That Funky Music White Boy”.Oh well he’s White Italian,Funky,Groovey,Good Looking,Plays The Blues, Can Rock n’Roll,Country,Swings,Sings,Classical,Smooth & Jazzy all around nice guy and can RAP!!!!What elese can you exspect? What year is this?”A gift is a gift and the beauty of that is life!and life is a gift from God...So God Bless and Peace On Earth and may Peace be with you all’ Hope you enjoy the music...I have allways wanted to become a part of a national act a dream to come true... allways being a part of a band you gotta watch out musicans procrasting never getting the job done but as in George’s past he kept on with his blessings to share with others. So let the music flow with love and harmony throughout the world.....The Nevada Kid.....George!
