For a young man, George Solomon is virtually a veteran performer having begun his professional career at age 15.
While in New York city, George appeared in numerous theatrical productions and in a short time went on to receive a "Drama Critics Award for Best Actor" in Neil Simon's COME BLOW YOUR HORN.
Scouted by an ABC television executive who prompted him to move to the west coast, George landed a lead role in STARS ON 45, which went on to be filmed and released by Universal MCA.
This led to a starring role in the critically acclaimed DREAM STREET for which he was a recipient of the "Las Vegas Entertainment Personality of the Year Award".
While appearing in that show, he was spotted by Motown founder Berry Gordy, Jr., leading to an ongoing association with Emmy award winning producer Suzanne DePasse.
While DePasse managed his career, he was asked to create a live production show with the legendary Smokey Robinson.
The success of this project led to George appearing with Smokey on NBC's MOTOWN REVUE.
The series gave George the opportunity to perform and write for a variety of stars including Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Bill Cosby, Stevie Wonder, Harry Connick Jr., George Michael, Liza Minnelli, and many others.
George has also appeared in and written for major industrial and corporate events including Coca Cola.
His performing credits as an actor and entertainer are extensive, having appeared in everything from TV soap operas to sitcoms.
One of his favorite theatrical roles is that of "Danny Zuko" in a recent production of GREASE.
George has been profiled in "Entertainment Tonight" and CNN's "Showbiz Today".
George Solomon's one-man show is currently delighting audiences worldwide.

George Solomon-LIVE ON STAGE
author: Dorothy Livingston
DEAR GEORGE
Hi! Just got off the Norwegian Majesty last Saturday, the 16th of Feb 08. Loved your show--bought your CD and you delivered it to my cabin #821. I had approached you in the Polo Lounge to ask for one after missing you after your wonderful performance!! Thank you so much!
I hope you have a long and wonderful career. You sure deserve it!! Do you remember coming out in the audience singing and sitting on my lap---the white-haired, tall lady?! What a surprise! Fun! Keep up the good work!
How long will you be on the ship---and where do you go from there? Tell me a little something about you and your family.---Married--children? What state do you hail from? I enjoy keeping up with STARS that I meet on cruises by E-Mail. Have a steady chat going back and forth with Michael and Rheanne Yancy, who are both singers---married over 20 years. We met them on a cruise ship also a few years ago. They are delightful!
Hoping to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Dorothy in North Carolina
