George Park Jr has over 40 years of experience in the music business as a musician and singer. His first record was released in 1978 when he was only 18 years old. He has performed on radio & television, and played backup on the road for many of the top Nashville recording artists, like Pam Tillis, The Kendalls, Ferlin Husky, Freddy Weller, Peggy Sue, and Hank Williams’ Drifting Cowboys Band.
George’s love of classic country music is reflected in the songs of this CD. He covers a wide range from classic country hits, some gospel favorites, and pedal steel guitar instrumentals. George played all the instruments you hear in all of the tracks along with singing the lead & harmony vocals.
George Park Jr is also a songwriter, with this CD including his new single “Everything Has Got Some Purple In It”, on track 1, along with “Today Is Never Here” (Texas shuffle style), “I’ll Never Really Get As Far As You” (Hank Williams style), and “I Don’t Know Why” (Waylon Jennings style), on tracks 6, 11, and 16.
If you like classic country music, then you will love this CD!

This CD is great! It has the sound of Texas honky tonk I like so well. The single, "Everything Has Got Some Purple In It", is a perfect song to get stuck in your head all day long! George Park Jr has brought it all back with this CD.
