George (Rusty) Locke has been gifted with a sharp eye and ear to the call of God. In nearly seventy years and with gentle patience, he has crafted music that speaks of everyday living and everyone's struggles. His six and twelve string guitars are used sparingly but appropriately as he weaves tunes and voice into a simple tapestry of one mans love of Jesus.
George is a cantor at a local church and many of his songs have been sung by that congregation as well as many Christian retreats state wide in New Hampshire
The title tune was written in less then five minutes as he was on a New England interstate heading to a weekend retreat. God tapped him on the shoulder and he had to pull over and write it down then and there.
Many of his songs have taken longer. Some, such as "Get Your Act Together" was composed over thirty years ago and was rediscovered a while ago with a bunch of papers headed to the dump. The "Blessing" is a tune George (Rusty) used to finish every performance and concert.
All of his music speaks from the heart. Please give a listen to "Walk With Him" and, though the song is not overly long, the words will have you thinking long after the music has faded.
