Album Notes

Bearette Productions introduces tenor George V. Richards in his jazz and blues recording debut. Born in Landshut, Germany, George V. Richards received his Bachelor of Music Degree from Stetson University, Deland, Florida, in 1977. He received his Master of Church Music Degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1980. George began his musical career by performing with the Christian musical group “TRUTH,” touring nationally, and has performed as a soloist for such diverse organizations as the Bach Festival Choir, Winter Park, Florida; the Vero Beach Choral Society, Vero Beach Florida; the Southern Ballet Company, Orlando, Florida; and the Florida Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Carmiina Burana, Orlando, Florida. He has taught Private Voice and Humanities for Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, and the Valencia Community College system in Orlando, Florida. More recently, he has been a director of worship music, has given private voice lessons, and is a guest artist at a number of venues. George’s talent goes beyond jazz and blues. His first recording, "George V. Richards," was an album of classical and sacred selections.
