Album Notes

This CD was recorded in 2005 at the Cafe Loco on Tybee Island Georgia. I have been a regular there for going on 4 years now, and it is my most favorite place to play. I wanted to capture a normal night there, so I just went in, hit the "record" button, and played, and that was it. What is there is there, right, wrong, out of tune, or in, just the way it was that night.

To me, what music is all about has gotten lost "in the mix" so to speak. Music has a PURPOSE, and though i play for myself(because that's just what I do) I never want to lose sight that my purpose is to play music for YOU. Whenever i play, solo or with my band, I try and keep a "front porch" feel to it. I want people to feel comfortable, to sing along if they feel like it, and as we say down south, "kick of your shoes and stay a while!"
