Peter was born to a Jewish family in South Africa. He grew up around music - his mother and grandmother concert level pianists. He could play almost anything by ear, but gave up after two years of piano lessons. It was only when he attended college at Brown University in the USA that he found the guitar. Wanting to impress a lady, he lied to her and told her that he played. By the next date, he’d learned a simple tune. She was impressed and he was hooked. After graduating from Brown, he moved to London to study acting. He landed roles in feature films and TV including “The Beach”, “The Life and Death of Peter Sellers” and HBO’s “Rome”. Peter moved to Los Angeles in 2005, where he wrote the album “Where Everything is Music” recorded with producer Giovanni Loria. It is, at its core an eloquent howl - an album of loss and grief and refinding.
