Album Notes

Feidman's incredible versatility is proven beyond a doubt with this recording, made with the Jerusalem Symphony. He displays his understanding and mastery of not only Klezmer, but music by Ravel, Hajdu and selections from "Schindler's List". When Giora Feidman was invited by Stephen Spielberg to record for the film "Schindler' List", he knew that his own production for this record would take place in Jerusalem, not far from Schindler's grave. Feidman wanted to include these pieces, hoping that through the music Schindler's message would be brought closer to the hearts of people and all mankind.
