Geoff Hewitt is a dynamic singer-songwriter from Buffalo, New York. So far the region has given us artists like the Goo Goo Dolls, Ani DiFranco and even Rick James. Geoff could very well be the region's next major act. Influenced by such artists as the Eagles, the Beatles, and Crosby Stills and Nash, Geoff has created his own unique acoustic rock sound. Although he has played in and out of bands for years, Geoff has always felt most comfortable as a solo acoustic artist. He perfected his live show and Buffalo, and has since taken it nationwide and beyond. His concert schedule has included dates in Europe and even Canada. Right now, however, Geoff has found a new home in Orlando Florida. In just two years, he has rebuilt his full time music business in the Sunshine State. He plays over 250 concert dates a year, including both originals and covers in his shows. This 1998 release features 14 original songs penned by Geoff Hewitt over several years. Joining Geoff on the album is his writing partner and former bandmate Darrell Porter. The songs range from folk to rock, and everything in between. The harmonies created by Hewitt and Porter are very rival those of the greatest vocal groups, including the Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, and the Everly Brothers.
