Absolute stunner!
author: Frank Gutch Jr.How this was buried, I'll never know. Gholson is female pop rock of top quality. 'I Got the Message' is radio ready, 'Ways To Kiss the Ground' has Satie-like eeriness, and 'Strange and Marvelous' is straight out of 'Til Tuesday's second album period, overwhelming! Word has it that Kirsti is working on a new album. After hearing this, I'm pre-ordering.
A gem in the rough
author: Bob BThe songwriting is top-notch, the rhythms are wonderfully different from standard top 40, and the playing and production are crisp. Her voice can get a bit whiny at times, but mostly she's ethereal or she rocks. This has been in my CD carousel since I got it. Thanks to garageband.com for making me aware of Ms. Gholson!

I have spent many enjoyable hours listening to this fine CD. The mix and playing are top rate, and I predict success for this fresh new voice. Hopefully, radio will give her the spins she deserves!
