The album Strange Communication finds Ghost Aquarium at it's best, with catchy melodies counterpointed with frantic outbursts of guitar, fuzz, and sonic chaos. Consisting of selected tracks from previous releases spanning 2001 to 2011, included are two previously unreleased tracks, "The Moment Party", a track recorded during the Chromosound sessions, and an unreleased home recorded instrumental from 2000 called "The Sand and the Stars".
With a unique, almost constant rotation of musicians, Ghost Aquarium defines it's own sound, owed to persistence, vision, and the help of a few friends.

"Alone" was written by Chris Ward, Brian Fischer, John Fee, and Ron K, sometime around 1992 for their band at the time called US. The song was re-worked by Ghost Aquarium, and the version recorded in 2001 as tribute to friends and bands gone by.
Ghost Aquarium vinyl is available directly from Ripping Records.
