Ghost is a norwegian band rooted in a suburb area southeast of Oslo called Follo. We play music in the Melodic Hard Rock / Heavy Metal genere, inspired mainly by the great Heavy Metal of the 80s. Ghost was founded in 2002 and consists today of 5 members aged for 29 to 35. "The Engraving" is third release after our 2005 demo "Time will tell" and our EP "Days Undercover" from 2010.
Our reasons for playing Heavy Metal is not to try change the world, spread political views or dictate what's right or wrong. We simply love making the music we want to listen to ourselves. Even as we threat the music as our hobby, escaping the stressful everyday life a couple of evenings every week, we would like to bring our music out to everyone who is interested.
Our goal is that when people hear a Ghost tune they will feeling the vibes, want to start headbang and crave for a beer! We want people to play Ghost at their party, krank up the volume, raise their fists in the air and start playing air guitar! Plain and simple, we want people to recognize Ghost as catchy, happy and hard hitting Heavy Metal music!
