Album Notes

Listeners and dancers...enjoy this original and vintage country collection from veteran weekend warriors who continue to love, create, and share their real country music, live, to the tune of more than 110 gigs a year.

The Ghost Riders, made up of "Wild" Bill McDonald on vocals and acoustic guitar; Brian "Graz" on lead guitar and back up vocals; Jimmy "Steel" Duvall on pedal steel; "Mild" Bill Pitcher on bass and vocals; and Randy Bolam on drums, strive to individualize each and every performance for each and every audience.

Hence, Still Kickin' Still Pickin', their second album, captures the ensemble flavor of five guys lovin' it and layin' it down in the studio for all to hear. Showcased are originals by songwriter, "Wild" Bill, including the title cut, "Still Kickin'," a fast paced song about the rodeo and life; "I'll Miss You When I'm Gone," a quick moving two-step about lost love; and "Drivin' Me Crazy," a thumping number with a Cajun feel about the bayou. "Mild" Bill adds an original romantic ballad entitled, "I Will Love You" ('til the day I die).

The Ghost Riders-style covers original arrangements of a variety of hardcore country selections encouraging a sound that tingles and twangs and makes you want to dance. The beats change but the essence, the Ghost Riders have honed since coming together in 1994, shines through.
