Album Notes

This Ghost Riders CD, "Any Time, Any Place, Anywhere" first released in 1995, is chock full of original numbers written by "Wild" Bill McDonald and arranged by the Ghost Riders. Covering subjects such as the time for lovers, "High Time You Love Me," to hot weather places like "Texas Heat" to the recurring lament of serious country listeners anywhere, "One More Last Song," the truth in "Wild" Bill's words and the twang of the Ghost Riders style emerges.

Solid steel guitar work (sometimes implementing a dobro effect) by Jimmy "Steel" Duvall over an interesting array of country beats by drummer, Jim Symonds and bass player, "Mild" Bill Pitcher, mixes with the band's back up vocal harmonies and guitar fill of Larry Merritt to produce a pleasing, but energetic western country swing. It's easy to listen to and "kinda makes you wanna dance."

Eleven of the thirteen originals were created by McDonald grasping the feelings of times ("Second Chance") and places ("Honky Tonk Heaven") anvwhere ("No Lookin' Back") his bands performed from his birth place in upstate New York ("I'll Always Be There") through the southern ("Barefoot In The Bayou"), southwestern ("Ole Red River"), western states ("Dead Ahead"), and home again ("Holding The Wheel").

"Mild" Bill Pitcher included two original compositions reflecting on the status of commitment between two potential lovers ("I'm Wonderin'") and band members to their gigs ("Weekend Guitar Man").

Recording mix master, Brian "Graz," captured and reproduced the ensemble feel of the Ghost Riders style produced locally in the Genesee Country Region of Western New York in the Av-A-Coop Studio.

Listen, enjoy, and purchase the musical candy in this Ghost Riders CD, that concludes with cut 14, a cover of "Ghost Riders In The Sky," in Ghost Riders style.

Thanks for sending me the CD so quickly. I ordered the album for the song \"Dead Ahead\", which always reminds me of \"home\", and found myself pleasantly surprised with the rest of the songs. Great house-cleaning music!!
