Album Notes

Giants of Science is a rock band from Brisbane, Australia consisting of Ben Salter (Vocals/guitar) Steve Lynagh (Drums) Matt Tanner (Bass) and Benjamin Tuite (Lead Guitar). Their material is a combination of Detroit style rock'n'roll, psychedelic rock grooves ala QOTSA and Swervedriver/Sonic Youth style guitar atmospherics, all served up with a distinctly antipodean attitude.

Since their formation in 1999 they have released 2 studio albums, two EPs and now this live album, "Live at the Troubadour" - a show in it’s entirety, warts and all - as well as touring around Australia and international ports of call many times. They have supported and toured with acts such as Radio Birdman, The Hard Ons, Tumbleweed, DKT/MC5, McClusky and Front End Loader.
