"I have always been captivated by the sound of the solo guitar...especially the wonderfully expressive sound of the classical nylon string guitar. "A Gift In The Night" is a collection of instrumental guitar pieces that I composed over a several year period. They were all recorded on the nylon string guitar. The inspiration for this music came from many places and it was often I found myself with my guitar in my hand in the middle of the night reflecting on some experience, or something I might have shared with someone. As it was my tendency to wake up at all hours of the night, I found the quietness of those moments, the perfect opportunity to express in a musical way how I felt about those experiences".
