Mikes last solo release again features the guitars of Rick Warsing who is also joined by son Owen Gibbins (guitars), Tim Kelliher (guitar, acoustic bass), Marty Groody (penny whistle), Rick Weidley (violin) plus the "Masked Guitarist".
The whole album features Mikes usual nod to seventies song crafting, plus his usual quirky time changes are also in effect.
Other songs of note includes a drum solo plus a surprise rendition of an already familiar track.

In The Meantime Come And Get It !!!

Whilst Badfinger were arguably the most under rated band in the World, Mike Gibbins would be one of the most under rated songwriters, I hesitate to use the term Singer/Songwriter.But this is one great little album with another selection of Mike's quirky little ditties all with a catchy hook. Included in these is a fine rendition of In The Meantime, the voice is ... well ... unusual but quite appealing.
Ten most enjoyable songs each with their own little twist.
What a pity we lost him so young, I have all of his solo albums and there is not a dud amongst them ...Thanks Mikey.
