Throttle

by Gift of Destiny

Gift of Destiny is uncommonly versatile. With it’s agit-prop stance, Johnny Rotten vocal wine, weapons grade riffs, and drumming that goes beyond heavy, Gift of Destiny could fill an Ozzfest slot. ~Music Connection magazine.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“Once in a while you run across something that just feels right musically. With the overabundance and subdivision of the music world it's refreshing to find something that does not conform to what anyone expects and yet is everything you expected. Finding that balance takes skill. Gift of Destiny has that skill in spades. You'll find everything from rock punk to thrash metal influences here but ultimately you'll find that G.O.D. has a unique sound. You can try to categorize this but listen well and it'll change. The musicianship is exceptional and the lyricism meaningful in a band that is prepared to change the game. Game on.”~ Omar, Society Syndicate

● “Blunt as a sledge hammer & almost as heavy. Weapons grade riffage and a Live-centric attack, Gift of Destiny could fill an Ozzfest slot.”~ Music Connection magazine

"These guys kept it to the point, bad ass and fun." ~98 KUPD call in listener

Still loving these tracks...
I've been a fan of these guys since I first heard their stuff on Myspace and even more so since their first live show. Even now I still rock out to their wicked songs. Track 5 -"Far Away" has been my favorite during all that time as well. Be sure and check these guys out if you want to hear some awesome rock that strays from the same old that you hear on the radio.

G.O.D. Lifts Me to a New Level
Being a fairly new metal fan, I've only discovered the power and the energy of metal for the past 4 or 5 years. I'll be honest with you...the hardest music that I've wanted to play over and over is Mudvayne...that is up until now. Gift of Destiny's Throttle has taken me to a new Thrash Metal level...and I'm likin' it!

Bad Ass CD!
CD has lots of energy. Fav songs are Raise Some Hell, Far Away and FU-1070. Bloodstains is pretty sick too, I like it better than the original. Great CD to get you movin’
