ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
GIFTSHOP is a four piece rock band from NYC with Meghan Taylor’s husky vocal purr leading the way.

The band draws on broad influences ranging from BIG 80's to PUNK, channeling a sound that’s familiar yet fresh. Championing CGBG’s style pop from the streets of New York City, Giftshop's hi-energy stage shows have earned them a dedicated following in Manhattan at the best live music venues.

Giftshop's EP 800 Million is now available on itunes!
Heralded by BILLBOARD’s song of the year contest as “...catchy and hot...”. They are finalists in the prestigious SHURE MICROPHONE Battle of the bands competition. The quartet sows the seeds for a highly marketable musical package. Radio ready pop gems such as "800 Million" and "Peach Girl" stick with the listener after the first few bars, while other tracks such as "Boomer" or "Purchase" could be dropped straight into a film or television soundtrack.
