In the summer of 2005, ex-Root Boy Slim sidemen Dan Hovey and John Zidar joined with virtuoso free-lance bassist Scott Giambusso to create a group dedicated to shredding the great hits and jams by groups such as Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. After 3 years of exploration of the hits and deep cuts by these artists as well as Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, & Blind Faith, the new band GHz (pronounced Gigahertz) decided to bring this music to the 21st Century at last.

Now, the waiting is over. GHz’s new studio effort “There’s Trouble Coming” is OUT! The CD is full of incredible, fresh original tunes and covers that have the same eclectic mixture of psychedelic adventure, sonic exploration and explosive playing that landed British Psychedelic Blues its place in history.
