Mark Gilston has been playing traditional folk music on the mountain dulcimer for over 35 years. In this CD he brings the wonderful sounds of the late English Renaissance to the sparkling technique of the dulcimer through interpretations of the English Country Dance tunes published by John Playford in 1651.
