Album Notes

2 years in the making and a dozen guest musicians New Inspiration features 9 new recordings.
Track 3 Walk to Love was featured on a September 2004 episode of All My Children.
Track 4 Faith is sure to catch your attention with its' uplifting melody, hopeful lyrics, and Bob DoLittle's driving bass guitar. The orchestration and arrangement is reminiscent of the 70's sound and Gina's soulful lead and lush backup vocals remind again why audiences love her.
GINAMARK'S remake of Paul Simon's Bridge Over Troubled Water gives this classic renewed life. The haunting keyboard pads, and classic piano textures, along with Tom Burfoot's guitar work blend with Gina's gorgeous vocal to create a sonic journey that is reason enough to want to own this album.
Track 8 Boy on the Loose is already a crowd favorite. Gina rocks on this one! And, once again, Tom Burfoot's masterful guitar playing prove why he is the most sought after rock guitarist in the Boston area.
The pop/jazz ballad New England in September shows off the versatility of Mark Alexander's song writing talent and the range of Gina's rich vocal stylings. This song spotlights the sultry side of her singing. Guest saxophonist Dino Govoni delivers a jaw dropping performance in the arrangement
The closing track on the album is Over the Rainbow. The simple beauty of Mark's piano playing and Gina's soaring vocal can easily be a source of new inspiration to any who hears it.

Like the season's first dive into the cold ocean on a humid day!

This CD is a study in dynamics. The blend between old and new. loud and soft, fun and serious, cover and original is quietly outrageous. I challenge anyone to shut off the cell phone and pager, sit down in your favorite comfort zone, close your eyes and LISTEN to this work nonstop. When its over if you haven't experienced joy, sadness, fun, tears AND hope i suggest you change your life as you're obviously missing the reason you're alive!
