ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Work on this album began with composition of the song "From Love to Love" in 2007. Ginger was just beginning her career as a solo artist after years in rock bands. The track was inspired by her spiritual work in the Sedona Method which is a technique for releasing emotions that block the way to your higher good. The lyrics of the chorus "Forget what you know surrender to the flow" refers to clearing your mind of past assumptions and allowing yourself to connect with the constant stream of well being which is everywhere working for your good. As an eclectic artist Ginger has many styles of writing. From Love to Love expressed her rock side and she wanted to give this song, and the one that followed closely after "My Own", a home on a rock album. There was much to do before that could happen. Most of the material had been written for her first release"This Cocoon", which was then underway. The songs she performed in her touring duo GBmojo were the focus of her next release "Hand and Hammer". Finally in the winter of 2011/12 she had the time to finish the writing for the album and "From Love to Love" and complete the work in a rock context. Many of the songs are the result of her spiritual work and influences. To find out more go to http://www.gingerdoss.com
