Given is comprised of five musicians coming together from different backgrounds, to form a signature sound that has personified the band.
If you look in the dictionary, you'll find the word "given" defined as a noun, meaning "natural ability." For this band, it's more personal than that. These guys were "given" a second chance after a near fatal car crash involving their drummer. "From the Wreckage That Was . . ." the title of their current cd release is a living confirmation that there can be light at the end of a dark tunnel. This collection of songs is about life, what it does to you, and what you can do with it.
