Songs For Sunset Lover's is volume 2 of a collection of Charles Givings' favorite love songs that he sings in his own special way. Everything from "Crusin' to "Mercy Mercy Me," to "So In Love" (sung a capella), is contained in this second CD.

Charles Givings is no amateur to the music world. The founder and leader of Recording Artist's Group "Rare Gems," he has been on the music scene for over 30 years. A wonderful drummer and singer, he has sung demos and played for Motown Records, working with writer Marilyn McLeod and Producer Hal Davis.

An excellent drummer in demand, Charles has also performed with such artists as The Penguins, The Olympics, Don Julian, Al Wilson, Tony Allen, Brenda Holloway, The Cadets, The Sixteens, Ernie Valens, Little Anthony & The Imperials, and J.J. Jackson.

He also studied under Master Arranger, Arthur G. Wright, learning sequencing, hard disk recording and arranging. He has also worked with the legendary Frankie Avalon, singing backgrounds on his latest hit, "The Good Guys", as well as engneering on the session.

Along with his group Rare Gems, he had a hit album on Casablanca Records & Filmworks during the late 70's. The album went to #1 in 51 cities throughout the United States.
