Album Notes

GJENFERDSEL is a Norwegian Black Metal band that was started by Iudex in 2002. The band received a lot of attention from all over the world with their demo release in 2004, and the media announced a band with high potential. The band immediately received a record-deal with the German label Ketzer Records which released their debut album "I" in 2006. Also this release received a lot of positive response from the Black Metal scene. The band have had several replacements in lineup, but till today, Iudex is the only remaining founding member. Today the band only consists of Iudex on vocals/guitars and Invictus on drums. GJENFERDSEL is known for their use of folk-elements in their music, and for keeping an unique sound in the genre.
