REVIEWS

Every track a winner, no complaints.

I bought this CD purely because of the soundtrack that the artist contributed to. The only shame is it's running time, but it takes nothing away from the originality. The music evokes a very atmospheric mood, which is just what you need when played on a miserable rainy day. All in all, you should have no reservations about purchasing this album.

I bought this cd for a specific song, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. The blending of raw/beautiful vocals and mesmerizing beats make it a real treat for those partial to hollers and field songs. This was my first purchase from CD Baby. It was the very best cd purchasing experience I have ever had due to the excellent customer service, fast shipping and overall cleverness of cd baby.

The CD is absolutely gorgeous. The music manages to keep you intertwined with the singers and makes you think about how far music has come in the centuries past. Mixing folk songs from the 30's with experimental modern electronica made this work even more thought provoking for the more younger listener, giving it an edge that the younger generation can relate to, yet giving them a chance to think about what's being sang. Wonderful!
