Album Notes

The Gleasons spent about a year putting together their songs and sounds and in Febuary of 2004 finally ended up with the current lineup. The Gleasons music is a mixture of traditional irish, bluegrass, americana, a hint of latin, rock and american pop. The wide variety of musical tastes in the band, blend together to create one of the most original and energetic bands in the Milwaukee area. Their live shows are a must see. Although the band takes their music very seriously, they certainly do know how to have fun with it and mix it up with the crowd. Singing songs about Ireland, old time movies, love and beer drinking, The Gleasons never cease to hold a crowds attention. The songs are well written, the musicianship is great and the people in the band are just out to play music and have fun. Next time you get a chance go see them play. You'll be dancing until the end.
