Album Notes

This is my first Solo CD effort. There's some very good lyric writing and harmonica passages, but the vocals sound
strained, and the beat is pretty loose sometimes. After I made this CD, I started playing the harmonica in a mouth rack so that I could play a Bodhran (a hand held drum) at
the same time. I also worked on smoothing out my vocals.
You can hear these improvements in my recent release:
"An Ark in the Basement" (available at CDBaby). If you've
all ready heard that, and you really like the lyrics - there's some good lyrics on this CD too. The general consensus is that "Dig it", "The F**king Dinosaur Song", and "Casey, the Puppy" are the best songs on the CD. "Walking along the Railroad Track" was played on KFAI (a local Minneapolis radion station, thanks to a friend who hosts a show there occasionally). This was an important CD for me, but most people will like my new CD "An Ark in the Basement" more than this CD "A Puppy at the Table", even though there's some good stuff in here.
