Full-time singer/songwriter/author Glenn Colton is known throughout the region as one of Western New York’s premier children’s entertainers. Glenn began his career as an elementary school teacher. In time, he turned his talents as an educator and a songwriter toward the young minds of tomorrow by taking his musical classroom on the road.

Glenn has proven that it is possible to create a sustainable career performing original music in Western New York. Since 1993, income from his live shows and product sales has been Glenn’s sole means of support. Glenn currently performs 250-300 shows every year, touching the hearts and minds of kids from Dunkirk to Dansville…Wilson to Warren! Well over 1,000,000 kids have experienced his unique, memorable high-energy show. According to The Buffalo News, “Glenn has a rapport with kids that must be seen to be believed.”

His original songs are used in many elementary schools throughout the state and the country (morning programs, their official school song, in music class, before every assembly, etc.). Glenn’s songs celebrate many of the character building traits that will help young people achieve a happy and abundant life.

Glenn is in the business of creating shared, memorable events with his high-energy shows. Over 95% of the schools Glenn performs at are repeat clients, keeping him quite busy. Students enjoy the concerts because they are fast-moving and entertaining. Audiences laugh, answer questions, dance and sing along as they share a wonderful musical experience. Using a variety of teaching styles in concert, the focus is on the audience and their active participation throughout the entire performance.

When Glenn was in elementary school, his dream was to make music. Today Glenn encourages his audiences to follow their dreams by finding something they love to do, and start doing it!
