This sums up the songwriting dexterity of Glenwood Smith, and is a glimpse into the contents of Love Is Stronger, the second offering from the GSB.
To say that Love Is Stronger breaks the genre barrier is an understatement.
From the first space-jam love song from God, "Out of the Dust" to the classical rock "I Am the One".
From the smooth jazz of "Little One" to the modern country "Your Love Is".
From the stein clanking ode to friendship, "Friends Unchanged" to the many more jams, ballads and songs you can sing and dance to, Love Is Stronger definitely breaks the chains of any classifications.
And each song is powered by each band members' skills and experience across a variety of musical styles from screaming guitars to a brass or string quartet and everything else in between, all backed by a powerhouse of harmonies.
Love Is Stronger also features one of Smith's many collaborations with guitarist Mark Earp, "Lost In a Crowd", and the ballad duet with daughter Kristen Nicole, "Without Your Love", on which she's also featured on the piano.
Lyrically Love Is Stronger says one thing, LOVE, and says it in ways that everyone can feel. And this makes this CD even more powerful, Smith's ability to move people with his lyrics as well as with his music.
