I have really tried to get into this recording, with deep listening and trying to capture how I feel when listening to it. And this is the verdict. First of all, this CD is a continuous, long piece ambient journey with lots of rhythmic synth pads/drums added to it with a decent ammount of sampled voices. At first I get the feeling that it reminds me slightly of the soundtrack to 'Dead Calm'. The typical 'haunting' and 'hectic' sound can be heard for quite a while in the beginning as an opening sequence of the album. But after this the CD seem to open up and unfold itself with breathtaking intrumentation and voice samples throughout the disc. It's a rather complex album, and has to be observed deeply by the listener to really understand it, and also an album that is not to be judged at first listening, not even the second! It's the typical album that has to grow on you, and when it has, you will definetely be surrounded by magic from start to finish! An album like this suits me perfectly, as it takes time to really admire it and understand it. And those albums are most often the most worthy ones in my opinion. Have many listenings to this if you're up to the task, and magic will develop inside your mind. It's a very rewarding experience for you ears once you get the hang of it. It's nothing extraordinary, but still well worth many listenings. Highly Recommended!
