This record displays a striking example of World Music Culture against a shimmering Pop/Dance backdrop. Producers from three continents converged on Australia to participate in a sharing of cultures through the universal medium of music. The result of their interaction with the Aboriginal people and their private culture has been to present traditional Aboriginal songs dating back 40 thousand years to our contemporary consciousness. With the blessings of the different Aboriginal clan leaders involved bestowed upon this collaboration, a very special work issues forth to the world outside Aboriginal Australia.
