Glori-H is the former band of Philadelphia musician Brian Donahue. With Donahue on guitar and vocals, Brian Eberle on bass, and Mark Darin also on guitar, Glori-H performed together for 8 years in Philadelphia and the Eastern US. Joined by Scott Lloyd on drums, Glori-H recorded this album just as the band was nearing its end. After an amicable parting of ways, Donahue, the band's primary songwriter, continued to put the finishing touches on the record while working as a solo artist both acoustically and with a new band. Finally the album was released, post-humously as it were, but a fine record filled with the powerful grooves and heart-on-sleeve emotions for which the band had become known.
Several of the songs can be heard in Donahue's performances with his new band... Whether you are an old fan of the band, a fan of Brian Donahue's new material, or simply looking to find a hidden gem of original and moving songwriting... check out this album!

"Shocking, amazing, and genius..."
author: VRCnet
I have the worst luck with bands....I always find the best ones after they break up. Glori-H is gone, but the music is not, thankfully...
"September Waltz" bursts out of the starting gate with fuzzy, distorted riffs and dark rock slam... The vocals are rough, low, and powerful. They drive with a passion and emotion unmatched by any independent band I've heard. Dark but clean strumming opens "Still Shaken"... it churns with emotion. The lyrics here are amazing.
"Turn it On"... The chorus is amazing, with a great progression, nearly screamed vocals, and haunting words: "Soon....she's all I have....when she turns it on again....you're going to sacrifice."
"Refrain" is the best song on the album. It starts out with only acoustic guitar and a quiet vocal line, then blasts you in the face with a scream and wild guitar... It's shocking, amazing, and genius.
