BACKGROUND:

Goat Magnet was formed in the fall of 2003. We are a jazz fusion band of four veteran Colorado musicians who share a common interest in experimenting with the fusion of jazz, rock, hip hop, death metal, reggae, and classical music (to name a few!). All four members have performed together and separately in various settings including the Mercury Ensemble, Colorado Symphony, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Boulder Philharmonic, Greeley Philharmonic, The Queen City Jazz Band, Colcannon, Laughing Hands, Joanna Connor, Art Lande, Followed By Silence, and other groups too numerous to name. The band is an outlet for creativity and improvisation, and the repertoire is largely original material by the players, friends, and family members.
