Album Notes
God-Des and She are a witty, hysterical, catchy, openly gay political hip hop/soul duo. They have played with the likes of Slick Rick, MC Lyte, Atmosphere, Bitch, and many other amazing muscians. Recently relocated to Brooklyn, they have taken New York City by storm. They have played sold out shows at the Famed Knitting Factory, South Paw, Joe's Pub, and the Supper Club for the Showtime/GO NYC Magazine L word party. Their documentary "Hip Hop Homo's" aired on LOGO in October and their new video single ,"Love You Better," is set to air sometime in December. You can also see them performing on the 2006 season finale of the L word. These girls are magnetic, lighting up the faces of the audience everytime!

Absolute Perfection!!
GOD-des & Tina G, give an absolute and completely refreshing new flavor to the music industry! To have a lesbian hip hop/ soul group out there that you can relate to and who tell it like its totally fantastic. Thanks a million times over!! With all love!

This cd has great vocals, grooves, and rhymes by a couple of strong women. What more could you ask for? Like many others, I've been playing it non-stop since I got it. Plus I had to buy a couple more copies to spread around. Hope to hear a lot more from this duo!

Upstate NY loving the CD!! Hearing lots of influences in the beats and lyrics, kind of a New school, soulful Bitch and Animal mixed with Enimem. "SHE" is tight with hooks!!!

Excellent CD...Goddes and Tina G have great chemistry and sound awesome together. I had my music playing on a mix and when God-Des came on I thought it was Da Brat! Very creative writing and love the approach to topics. The ONLY reason we didn't give 5 stars is because it starts to sound a little repetitive by the end. But they're ALL kick ass songs so it's definitley worth buying. Can't wait to see them live!!!

No Q's asked, this has to be the best music EVER! It made me, a punk rocker, turn hiphop. I LOVE this cd. The best 3 are probably, Addiction,Struggle and Oh Shit.
