Album Notes

God Fights Dirty
The Band that was Banned from the Grand Ole Opry.

God Fights Dirty has passed through the bowels of ordinary existence, splashing robustly in the underground rock and roll toilet. We present to you a demo that embraces the angst of a high school wrestler questioning his identity and the anthems of jaded hopefuls. Here are the players:

Ray (31) - The founder of God Fights Dirty and, if you will, the singer. The former leader of the Philly favorite Size Queen, he is afraid of children and God.

Ray was tickled to add Rob (28), fresh from his stint as Latimer's powerhouse drummer, to the fold. Ray probably didn't deserve the good fortune of finding the only drummer in the city who doesn't fidget and drum on the table in restaurants.

Wayne (27) has lived in England and played guitar with several outfits, most notably the popular band Done Lying Down. Some have said that having Wayne play his instrument has proven that excellence has died in the modern age of music.

Rod (25) is a former player from the Dark Star Orchestra. God Fights Dirty didn't hold it against him for too long. Sure, they sang Sugar Magnolia every time he entered the practice space in his first month, but you must admit, one should be punished at least a little for playing Grateful Dead songs for three years.
