Goldee Heart's interest in music, and specifically in piano, began at the early age of seven. By age eleven Goldee joined his first band as a keyboardist performing in local night clubs, and later throughout the East Coast corridor. After performing with several local groups he released his first recording, "Give Me A Minute.
Circumstances influenced the self-contained and introspective artist of today, creating a blend of urban R&B and pop which is unique to this artist who produces recordings utilizing multi-track layers of his own performances with a variety of influences.
Goldee is a member of ASCAP. The Point Of View CD was self-produced, written, composed and performed.
This CD features two engaging cover songs, "Heart to Heart," original score by Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald and David Foster. Over and Over written by Thom Bell and William Hart, was originally recorded by The Delfonics.
Thanks to Plunky Branch courtesy of N.A.M.E. Brand Records on Sax contributed to "Heart to Heart." Thanks to Dustin James and Keta Vaughan vocal contributions to "Hey DJ." Lisa Long, Michelle Johnson, Shequana Conner and Gerry Harmon also appear as guest phone callers on "Hey DJ." Thanks to Lisa Flowers guest female on "Say I Do."
Goldee Heart is the recipient of two Virginia's R&B Independent Artist Awards in 2005. He is also 1st Place Winner of American Idol Underground R&B On Demand Competition.

Point of View is a well diverse combination of R&B Rhythms. A number of music adjectives were used in critique process to describe the overall sound of the project. Consistently words such as experimental fusion, pure clean energy, high energy, energetic funk, an emotional high, bumbling bass lines, steamy rhythms, hypnotic beats, were used to describe the musicianship with variations on the basses and keyboard rhythms and drum exchanges.
Tracks including Rain on my Party were described as a smooth-funky track. Hey DJ was described as a fusion funk style of R&B.
Point of View has fine performances and musicianship, completed with a tasteful choice of instrumentation and sounds. The melodies of the songs flow in execution and are very memorable. Your ability is consistent and strong in delivery (rhythmically orchestrated).
