Album Notes

The Greats formed like a militia in the summer of 2005 to rescue the Portland Nude Bike Ride party from stultifying, naked boredom. As 200 naked bicyclists danced luridly before them, the Greats got a foggy notion that they were on to something. Requests for appearances poured in, which the Greats squeezed into their schedule like the aftermath of a Chinese lunch special.

The posse consists of band leader and junk drummer Stiff Suddenly (Badmintons, Bohemian Onslaught), bottom feeder Gold E (ex-Bubu Klan), trumpet blaster Jarvis Trementosy (Bohemian Onslaught, Digital Knife), sax massager Tube Hamm (Drats!!!), The Organ on synthetic keys, Drum Buddy wizard Dr. No No (of sketch comedy troupe Extra Medium), and guitar puller Stabby (Shut-Ups). Our live show is made even more funky thanks to GiGi dancers Suzie, Missy, Dolce and Lauren, who lead the audience in ritual rump-scooting.
