From day 1, in June of 2001, Gold Mind Squad has had the "Do it Yourself" attitude. David, Evan, Brent Allen, Rooobyn, and Danny formed through friendship, and their shared intense desire to become one of the biggest rock bands on the planet.

Here is a brief history of Gold Mind Squad:

* Gold Mind Squad won the WHFS BIG BREAK Competition and opened the MAIN STAGE of HFSTIVAL 2005, playing alongside Billy Idol, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Good Charlotte, Sum 41 and more!

* Gold Mind Squad's "The Plague of Popularity" is in stores now!!

* GMS were finalists in DC101's "Last Band Standing" Contest.


* GMS has broken several attendance records in their hometown of Annapolis and Edgewater, MD with crowds of 300, 400, and 600 paid.

* Played HFStival 2003 with Janes Addiction, Audioslave, Good Charlotte, AFI, The Used, and Godsmack.

* Played 98 Rock's Thrash @ Rash with Powerman 5000, Hed PE, Theory of a Deadman and Shinedown.

* Played several sold out shows @ The 9:30 Club in D.C., the Recher Theatre in Towson, MD, and the Thunderdome in Brooklyn, MD with such acts like Good Charlotte (Young & the Hopeless Cd Release), Jimmies Chicken Shack, SR-71, Trust Company and Sev.
