Album Notes

This is the Debut CD from Songwriter RICK GOLDSCHMIDT, lead singer and guitarist for the Chicago area rock band THE STARVING ARTISTS! It features 10 original songs written by Rick and recorded over a two year period in TEMPE, AZ and CHICAGO, IL.

ROBIN WILSON, lead singer of GIN BLOSSOMS/THE LONGSHADOWS, Produced half the CD and appears on half the tracks along with GIN BLOSSOMS guitarist SCOTT JOHNSON and original GB Drummer PHILLIP RHODES. A 'TEMPE' sound was created. Members of the TEMPE band THE BLACK MOODS also appear.

RICK is also the AUTHOR of two books on RANKIN/BASS PRODUCTIONS (RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, MAD MONSTER PARTY, THE HOBBIT, THUNDERCATS, etc.). He is the official historian for the famous Production team. He has devoted a large portion of his life to Producing DVDs, Figurines, CDs on the famous characters like HEAT MISER & SNOW MISER.

This CD is the most exciting project RICK has released. It is an impressive collection of songs that has won over many fans and critics alike. Besides the TEMPE cast, his longtime CHICAGO Producer JEFF ISLINGER worked on some tracks with his band THE STARVING ARTISTS (Dennis Riordan, Chris Goldschmidt & Tom Margarites). KEVIN & KEG GIRAGOSIAN also helped and Produced a few tracks in their Chicago area studio. KEVIN & KEG are in the popular Chicago area band THE NEVERLY BROTHERS.

The cover art is by DAVID SHELDON who is famous for his LOG COMMERCIALS on the REN & STIMPY SHOW and his animated OLD NAVY Commercials. PATRICK OWSLEY Contributed the attractive logos to the cover, which was designed by TONY AMATO in TEMPE, AZ.
