After releasing the ep "the less we say" in 2011, GOMI decided to fill out their roster by adding another guitarist and bass player.
This move was to facilitate steering the bands song writing away from the simple meat and potatoes approach to their brand of rock, and moving forward with the meat and potatoes but also adding all the sides and vegetables to the songs as well.
In early 2013 GOMI once again called on Jamie Woolford to help produce all of their un recorded material to date. Spending the first few months of 2013 pre producing all of the material, it was decided that 8 songs would be recorded. But drum tracking went so well that a 9th song was added in the studio.
After all was said and done the decision was made to do a short run physical CD release adding the 4 songs from "the less we say" ep that were only released digitally to the 9 new tracks and title it "The less we say, the more we hear..." The 4 songs off of "the less we say" were re mixed and re mastered to sonically match the new tracks for the new release. Those tracks will be included in this digital album.
Musically GOMI has grown in leaps and bounds from their early material. "The less we say, the more we hear..." spans many genres and influences, but in the end it's every bit GOMI.
